About this poster
Tanjiro Kamado, his blade set ablaze by the Dance of the Fire God, standing in smoke and embers. The deep black background makes the green of his haori and the orange flames stand out.
Tanjiro Kamado stands facing you, perfectly still, the hilt of his sword raised to his face. Along the blade, an orange flame coils upward in a spiral: the Dance of the Fire God, Hinokami Kagura. Embers drift through the dark around him and grey smoke rolls along the ground.
The whole image is built on contrast. The near-black background throws forward the green-and-black chequered haori, the hanafuda earrings and the burning light that runs down the centre of the frame. His gaze is fixed and resolute: the split second before he strikes.
How to show it off
This Demon Slayer poster, a portrait print, loves a pale wall where the black background becomes its own frame. Above a desk or a gaming setup, a warm light makes the orange flames glow. Hung next to Zenitsu — Thunder Breathing, 3 cm apart, it makes a striking fire-and-lightning pair.
