"But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo": the Creep chorus on label-tape strips, pasted over the single's cover art like a photocopied fanzine.
"Creep", released as a single in 1992 and then on Pablo Honey in 1993, is the song that broke Radiohead. Everyone knows the chorus: But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo. What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here.
The poster lays it out like a nineties fanzine run through a photocopier. At the top, the man in the red car from the single's cover, reprinted in black and red, with the two arrows pointing at his head and a torn edge. Over it, the lyrics on label-tape strips: BUT I'M A CREEP in black, I'M A WEIRDO in red, then the next two lines on yellow and black. At the bottom, the real "radiohead" logo and "creep" label cut from the cover, held on with tape.
Photocopy grain in red, black and yellow: the poster has the energy of a teenage bedroom wall, and speaks to anyone who has ever sung that chorus a little too loud.
