Radiohead posters: Stanley Donwood's world, from the icy peaks of Kid A to the neon bursts of In Rainbows and the pale motorways of OK Computer.
A Radiohead poster doesn't shout. There's no stage shot, no band in leather, no logo in flames. Instead you get a landscape that looks slightly wrong, a colour that seems to leak, a picture that rewards a second look. It's rock for people who listen with headphones at two in the morning.
That look has an author. Since 1994 the Oxford band has trusted almost every sleeve to Stanley Donwood, usually working alongside Thom Yorke. Few groups have kept the same visual voice for so long, and it shows.
For OK Computer (1997), Donwood and Yorke wanted a "bleached bone" palette: off-whites, washed-out blues, road signs and scraps of text, all drawn on a computer under one strict rule, no undo. The result is cool and clinical, a natural fit above a desk.
Kid A (2000) changed the weather. Jagged frozen mountains, landscapes that seem to smoulder, an apocalypse painted softly. It's the snow in our tagline and the image that holds a wall best on its own.
Then In Rainbows (2007), first released as a pay-what-you-want download, let the colour run: bright, liquid blots that feel almost psychedelic after the ice of the earlier records.
A portrait format suits these images well: tall enough for a mountain range, quiet enough not to crowd a small room. One Kid A print over the bed sets a calm, slightly melancholy mood. Three posters in a row, one per era, read like a timeline of the band.
Keep the rest of the room restrained: pale walls, warm light, a turntable if you have one. Our vinyl prints share that analogue feeling, and the wider rock collection lets you mix in other decades.
Every poster is printed in Tunisia and paid for on delivery, wherever you are in the country. Pick the one that makes you stop and stare.
