About this poster
The cover of KTYB's Mixtape, Vol. 2 (2020) as a taped polaroid on a sunset gradient, with the 8 tracks on side A and side B, like a cassette.
Mixtape, Vol. 2 came out on 30 July 2020 on the Mighty URBN label: eight tracks, twenty-eight minutes. Its cover looks like a summer snapshot taken in a hurry: a potted palm at the edge of a pool, under an orange and pink sky.
On the poster, that photo becomes a polaroid taped onto a big sunset gradient, with "mixtape vol. 2" written in marker on the white border. The grain is there on purpose, everywhere, like on film.
Side A, side B
A mixtape is a cassette, so the eight tracks are split into side A (White Sugar, Filfel Msayell, Tournevis, Benna / Benna) and side B (Embiid, Mercy Lè !, Abda Bill, Denya Asbeb), each with its length.
Where to hang it
Its peach, coral and lavender tones warm up a white or beige wall and look great with light wood, rattan and plants. A summer poster to keep all year.
The other posters are on the KTYB page and in the Arab Pop & Rap world.
Printed in Tunisia, paid on delivery.
