About this poster
KTYB in his beret and oval black shades, drawn in black halftone dots in front of a giant red KTYB, with كتيب in bold Arabic letters. A cream, black and red print in the style of a two-colour press.
KTYB looks at you over his shoulder, beret on his head and oval black shades, the collar of a black sweatshirt pulled up to his chin. The whole portrait is built from dots: a black halftone screen tilted at 45°, like old newspapers and screen-printed gig posters. From across the room it's a face. Up close, it's a field of dots.
Behind him, his name stretches in giant red letters down the full height of the poster, and at the bottom, كتيب in big Arabic letters. A second red screen, slightly out of register, warms the skin and gives that small wobble you only get from two-colour printing, risograph style.
A Tunisian rap poster for your wall
The cream background lets the image breathe. On a white wall it stands out like a street paste-up; on a dark wall the red takes over. It sits naturally above a desk, next to the decks or along a hallway: anywhere the music plays.
Hang it alone for a bold graphic statement, or surround it with other voices of the scene from the Arab Pop & Rap world. Everything about the rapper is on the KTYB page.
