The red Honda Civic Type R FL5 from the rear three-quarter, "シビック" in tall black katakana on cream, standing on a black horizon line.
The Honda Civic Type R of the FL5 generation has a 2.0-litre K20C1 VTEC turbo and sticks to front-wheel drive. In March 2022, a pre-production FL5 set the front-wheel-drive lap record at Suzuka: 2:23.120.
The Type R from behind
On a washi-cream background, "シビック" (Civic) stretches out in tall black katakana. Below it, the red Civic Type R seen from the rear three-quarter: big wing, three exhaust tips in the middle of the diffuser, Type R plate. It stands on a thin black horizon line. At the top, "01 — HONDA" in red; at the bottom, "CIVIC TYPE R", "FL5" and two lines: "2.0 L VTEC turbo · front-wheel drive" and "FWD lap record at Suzuka · 2:23.120". The photo was taken at Osaka Auto Messe 2025.
Red and cream sit well on a light bedroom wall, above a desk or in a garage. 4K print on a PVC board about 1 cm thick, no frame needed.
This is the first panel of the JDM — 日本 · Now triptych, to the left of the GR Supra and the Nissan Z, with the horizon line running from one poster to the next; on its own, it holds up just as well.
