About this poster

Three Japanese cars of today, one per maker: Civic Type R, GR Supra and Nissan Z, tied together by a black horizon and a big red sun.

Three Japanese cars of today, one per maker. The Honda Civic Type R FL5 has a 2.0-litre K20C1 VTEC turbo and front-wheel drive; in March 2022, a pre-production FL5 set the front-wheel-drive lap record at Suzuka, 2:23.120. The Toyota GR Supra A90, the fifth generation, was built from March 2019 to March 2026; the one on the poster is a Final Edition, 3.0-litre turbo straight-six, 387 PS. The Nissan Z RZ34, built since April 2022, has a 3.0-litre VR30DDTT twin-turbo V6 and 400 hp; in Japan it is sold as the Fairlady Z.

One sun for three cars

A washi-cream background, and on each panel the car's name in tall black katakana: シビック, スープラ, フェアレディZ. A black horizon line runs through all three panels, and a big red sun sets behind the Supra in the middle. The red Civic is seen from the rear three-quarter, the matte black Supra from the front three-quarter, the white Z from the side. Under each one, its name and two lines of specs.

Side by side, the three panels make a composition about 90 cm wide: above a sofa, a bed or a desk. 4K print on PVC boards about 1 cm thick, no frame needed.

Photos: Tokumeigakarinoaoshima, Charles from Port Chester, New York and TTTNIS, all CC0, credited on each panel.
