About this poster
Levi Ackerman leaps, a blade in each hand, in front of the Wings of Freedom emblem, with “Die Flügel der Freiheit” in blackletter and the cry 心臓を捧げよ!
In Attack on Titan, the Survey Corps is called 調査兵団, Chōsa Heidan. Its emblem, wings laid over a shield, is known as the Wings of Freedom: 自由の翼. Among its soldiers is Levi Ackerman, 兵士長, Squad Captain, known as 人類最強の兵士: Humanity's Strongest Soldier.
On the poster, Levi leaps in full colour, a blade in each hand, in front of the large blue and white Survey Corps emblem. 調査兵団 is written in red on the left, 自由の翼 in navy on the right. Below, “Die Flügel der Freiheit” in German blackletter: it is the official German title of the anime's second opening, 自由の翼 by Linked Horizon, released on 10 July 2013 (episodes 14 to 25). At the bottom, a red banner reads 心臓を捧げよ!, Shinzō wo Sasageyo!, “Dedicate your heart!”: the Survey Corps salute, and also the title of the third opening, “Opfert eure Herzen!” in German, released on 17 May 2017.
A regiment poster
Cream background, red and navy: the poster has the look of an old military screen print. It works on a light wall, in a bedroom, a gaming corner or above a desk, and Levi in mid-leap puts movement into the whole room.
