About this poster

JadaL's singer at the mic, guitar strap across his chest, drawn in black halftone dots under a giant red جدل logo. A cream, black and red print in the style of a two-colour press.

JadaL's singer sings with his eyes half closed, lips against the mic, the guitar strap cutting across his leather jacket. The whole portrait is built from dots: a black halftone screen tilted at 45°, like a screen-printed gig poster. From across the room it's a face; up close, it's a field of dots.

Above him the band's logo, جدل, stretches in red across the full width, its letters cut like blocks of stone. His hair bites into the tip of the logo, and a second red screen, slightly out of register, warms his skin and the strap: the small wobble you only get from two-colour printing.

A gig poster for your wall

The cream background lets the image breathe: on a white wall it stands out like a street paste-up; on a dark wall the red takes over. It sits naturally above a desk, next to a guitar on a hook or along a hallway.

It belongs to the same series as the KTYB red halftone poster: hang them side by side and Tunis meets Amman on one wall. Every poster of the band is on the JadaL page, with more voices of the scene in the Arab Pop & Rap world.
