About this poster

Two fans wrapped in the Tunisian flag under AIGLES DE CARTHAGE in giant white letters and نسور قرطاج, on flag red, with Tunisia's World Cups and the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations.

“Les Aigles de Carthage”, the Eagles of Carthage, نسور قرطاج in Arabic: that is the nickname of the Tunisia national team. Tunisia has played seven World Cups, in 1978, 1998, 2002, 2006, 2018, 2022 and 2026. It has been African champion since the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations, won 2–1 against Morocco in the final on 14 February 2004 in Radès.

The poster is flag red from top to bottom. At the top, AIGLES DE CARTHAGE in big, tight white letters, with “Tunisie” and تونس above. In the middle, a photo taken in 2006 at the Stuttgart Fan Fest, during Tunisia's match against Ukraine: two fans sitting with their backs to us, wrapped in the Tunisian flag, crescent and star clearly visible, watching the giant screen. The red of the flags melts into the background of the poster. Below, نسور قرطاج in white Arabic letters, then two lines in French: Coupe du monde, with the seven years, and Champions d'Afrique, 2004.

Flag red

One strong red and white, nothing else: you see this poster from across the room. It works on a white or grey wall, in a bedroom, a living room or wherever you watch the national team. On match nights, it does the job of a flag. The PVC board, about 1 cm thick and 4K-printed, hangs without a frame.
