About Lamine Yamal
Lamine Yamal posters: Barça's new number 10, left-footed dribbles and the blaugrana shirt. Bold colours for a star still on the rise.
He grew up in Rocafonda, a working-class neighbourhood of Mataró, north of Barcelona, kicking a ball around a small local pitch. Today that pitch carries a mural in his honour. A Lamine Yamal poster tells the story of a kid who caught world football off guard.
Born in 2007 and developed at La Masia, he made his first-team debut for FC Barcelona at just 15. With Spain he won Euro 2024. And on his 18th birthday, in the summer of 2025, the club handed him the number 10 once worn by Ronaldinho and Messi, along with a contract to 2031.
Why his images hit so hard
Yamal starts with a left foot cutting in from the right wing, a drop of the shoulder and a ball curled towards the far post. On a print that move reads in a second: body leaning, eyes on goal, the blue and claret shirt in motion.
He also has symbols of his own. The 304 hand sign is a tribute to Rocafonda's postcode. And a photo taken in 2007 shows a young Messi holding baby Lamine in a little bathtub, an image that became almost mythical once the boy took over the 10.
For colours there are two routes: Barça blaugrana, deep and rhythmic, or Spain's red and yellow, sunnier and warmer.
A poster for the new generation
Yamal speaks to the youngest fans, the ones who play in the street below their building and dream big. A print above a teenager's bed or desk is a reminder that everything can start on a neighbourhood pitch.
A few ideas:
- a Yamal and Messi pairing, two generations of the 10 side by side;
- a Camp Nou print next to his portrait;
- a light background to make the blue and claret stand out.
From the pitches of Mataró to bedrooms across Tunisia, his story travels fast. Order it today and pay the courier when it reaches you.
