About Espérance Sportive de Tunis

Espérance de Tunis posters: blood-and-gold stripes, the 1919 crest and the tifos of Radès. For Taraji fans, from Bab Souika to the world.

It all started in a café. On 15 January 1919, at the Café de l'Espérance in the Bab Souika neighbourhood, a group of young Tunisians led by Mohamed Zouaoui and Hédi Kallel founded a club that would become an institution. An Espérance de Tunis poster is more than a century of fervour in red and yellow, hung on your wall.

Blood and Gold, a powerful visual identity

Few people know it, but the club's first colours were green and white. Yet it's the red and yellow that stuck: the famous Blood and Gold, worn in vertical stripes and recognisable at a glance in any stadium in Africa.

On a poster, those two warm colours make an instant impact. Deep red brings intensity, yellow brings light, and together they summon big nights at the Hammadi Agrebi Stadium in Radès, when the stands fill with flags and tifos.

The honours list feeds the imagination too. The most successful club in Tunisian league history, Espérance won the African Champions League in 1994, 2011, 2018 and 2019. And legends have worn the shirt, like Tarak Dhiab, African Footballer of the Year in 1977, whom you'll also find among our legendary players.

Showing it off at home

Red and yellow are generous colours. To make them shine, pick a neutral wall, white or grey, or go the other way with a very dark background that makes them burn like flares at night.

A few ideas for a Taraji wall:

  • a club-colours print above the bed with a terrace scene beside it;
  • a row of three posters recalling the great African nights;
  • a full end-of-the-stadium mood with our Ultras & Stadiums collection.

From Bab Souika to the rest of the world, Blood and Gold supporters are everywhere. Shipped to every governorate, paid in cash at your door.
