About Bleach

Bleach posters: Ichigo in a black shihakusho with Zangetsu in hand, flame-orange hair and the stark ink-and-white contrast of the Thousand-Year Blood War.

Spiky orange hair, a black kimono, a sword as wide as a door. A Bleach poster carries a sharper elegance than most shōnen art: deep black, clean white, and one colour burning in the middle. Tite Kubo ran his manga in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 2001 to 2016; studio Pierrot animated it, then returned with Thousand-Year Blood War to adapt the final arc.

Bleach's look: fashion meets the blade

Kubo draws like a fashion designer. His volume covers often show a single character on a white background, posed as if for a photo shoot, and each volume opens with a short poem. That restraint makes Bleach one of the easiest series to put on a wall.

The symbols are bold and readable:

  • Zangetsu, Ichigo's cleaver of a sword, and its slimmer all-black Bankai form;
  • Hollow masks, bone-white and often slashed with red;
  • the white captains' haori of the Gotei 13, each marked with its division number;
  • the Soul Society, its traditional rooftops and enormous skies.

Getsuga Tenshō, that wave of black energy edged in red, sums up the whole palette: black, white, blood red, bright orange.

Building a Bleach wall

Bleach's black and white suits almost any room. On a white wall, Ichigo in his black robes makes a crisp, graphic contrast; on charcoal grey, the white masks take over. In a teenager's bedroom or a student flat, two prints are enough: the hero on one side, his Hollow mask on the other, two faces of the same character.

For a wider wall, line up several captains side by side; the repeated white haori create an almost architectural rhythm. Bleach also sits naturally next to the dusk-and-steel mood of our samurai posters.

From first-generation fans to newcomers who arrived with the final arc, the series still owns plenty of bedroom walls across Tunisia. Every other series lives in the anime section.
