Jujutsu Kaisen

A black blindfold, white hair, a relaxed grin in the middle of chaos. One silhouette of Satoru Gojo is all it takes to recognise a Jujutsu Kaisen poster. Gege Akutami's manga ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 2018 to 2024 and built, in just a few years, a world that is dark, funny and ridiculously stylish, brought to the screen by studio MAPPA.

The look of Jujutsu Kaisen: cursed energy and Domain Expansion

In this world, curses are born from people's negative emotions, and sorcerers fight them with cursed energy. Visually that means hard contrast: the black uniforms of Jujutsu High, bluish flames, shadows that spit out Megumi's dogs, Nobara's hammer and nails.

Two figures rule the wall. Gojo, with eyes of an almost unreal blue and techniques where blue and red merge into a devastating purple. And Sukuna, the King of Curses, known instantly by the black markings across his face and arms. Between them, Yuji Itadori, hoodie up and fists clenched, keeps the story human.

Then there is Domain Expansion, the move where a sorcerer traps an opponent inside their own world: entire symbolic landscapes, made for large-format images. The Shibuya arc, with Tokyo's streets drowned in Halloween night, delivered a whole gallery of unforgettable scenes on its own.

Picking and hanging a JJK print

In a bedroom, a vertical print gives a single character room to breathe: Gojo for aura, Sukuna for intensity. Hang them as a blue-and-red pair on either side of a desk or monitor and the mirror effect does the rest. On a dark wall, violets and cyans glow; on a white wall, go for black-background artwork to keep the occult mood.
