Blue Lock

Three hundred strikers locked inside a training facility, one goal: become the best striker in the world. A Blue Lock poster blends two passions that run deep in Tunisia, football and manga. Written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and drawn by Yusuke Nomura, the series has run in Weekly Shōnen Magazine since 2018, won the Kodansha Manga Award in 2021, and took off worldwide with studio Eight Bit's anime from 2022.

The Blue Lock look: ego at the centre of the pitch

The premise is simple. After Japan's exit at the 2018 World Cup, coach Jinpachi Ego launches the Blue Lock project: gather the country's best young forwards and make them battle until only one is left. His philosophy is provocative: a true striker has to be selfish.

Visually, Blue Lock looks like no other football manga. Eyes light up when a player hits his zone, visual metaphors turn a dribble into a predator's hunt, and the pitch becomes something close to a battlefield. The blue shirts and dark training kits give the series a strong, graphic identity.

Every character has his own aura: Yoichi Isagi and his reading of the game, Meguru Bachira and his unpredictable dribbling, Seishiro Nagi and his unreal first touch, Rin Itoshi and his icy stare.

A wall between football and manga

In a player's bedroom, Blue Lock fits perfectly above the bed or next to the boots. A poster of Isagi sets the tone; add Nagi or Rin beside him to put a rivalry on display. Blue dominates, so play it against white, grey and a touch of black.

Blue Lock is also the perfect bridge to our football collection, where real legends sit next to the clubs that make the country roar. For more series, head to the anime poster collection.

Become the world's best striker, on your wall at least.
